I wanted to share a link to a free resource for genealogy you might find useful: Family Search , which is hosted by the LDS church and is dedicated to providing free access to family history records to everyone. They also are looking for volunteers to help index records to make them searchable. I found the website very helpful when doing some research on my master’s thesis as well as my own family history.
